This installation is a rebus in which the artist's thoughts on body, issues and functions of modern art are encoded.

The key to the rebus is a constant struggle.

The struggle:

- of the heater to be useful in its original function in an inappropriate context;

- of a freezing tree for its existence;

- of a neon arrow for the opportunity to be noticed against the background of central lighting.

 

* If the work is exhibited indoors, the tree is replaced by an artificial plant. Thus, the artificial tree struggles for the desire to be real.
